In ESPN magazine, there’s a Toyota ad that says in a new Corolla, I will be the “grand fromage in high society.” The tagline of the ad is “Live The Dream For Less Coin”. The ad appeared before all the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac doom and gloom. Does Toyota know something I don’t? Are they trying to tell me that the economy is in such a state of decline that the American dream is now a compact car instead of a condo? What do you think? The headline of the ad is: “A QUIET PLACE TO REVEL IN YOUR ENTITLEMENT.”
